I ask people all the time, "How to start an online business?"
In this article, you will learn about:
Different types of traffic.
Why some traffic sources are better than others.
How to make sure you attract as much free traffic as possible.
Traffic sources to avoid like the plague.
When you start your internet journey, you must first understand that the internet is all information. When you do a search, let's say extra tomatoes, the first page of the search engine response is not exactly the vulture, it says about the tomatoes sold to the farmers.
This combination of search terms with the best website to answer search terms, as well as any search term, has made some people very rich.
There are many sources of traffic:
Single ads Your ads are paid ads to keep your ads on the mailing list. The traffic you receive may be reduced.
Pinterest PIN is free or you can pay for the ads you promote. This traffic is strongly focused.
Facebook ads are pretty cheap, but you really need to know what you're doing to get your ads.
Google AdWords is a small ad you see in various ads. These are expensive and usually provide heat to buy traffic.
There are several other sources of traffic but for this discussion, I am going to focus on free search engine traffic.
There are more than 1 reasons why search engines understand what they are looking for when evaluating your website to send you organic (free) traffic. They have many criteria for judging a site.
How many pages are there in different aspects of the main theme of the site?
How long does the average visitor stay on the site? (The longer they stay, the more useful information they will get and therefore your site must be of high quality).
How many internal links go to your site. They usually make more money than other sites that link to you. They usually see your site as your equivalent or your authority site. (This is pure gold for you)
Does your site sell unknown (probably risky things) or do you provide quality links like Amazon or eBay?
Apparently, they have hundreds of things to look for but they are hidden in secret search engine algorithms.
These are just some of the goal-setting shareware that you can use to avoid traffic jams. These usually have really low traffic and your site has a good chance of being banned by search engines. This is bad news.
Some places provide content spinning software to create content for your site very quickly. These should be avoided like Ebola because they take a simple text and “spin” differently. What you end up with is horrible text. Search engines can smell rats and declare your site a poor place to send free or even paid traffic.
Search engines are concerned about the quality of the content on your site. They even judge it when you buy traffic. If your site has a poor page ranking, they will give you more traffic for your traffic than if you are ranked higher for the quality of your site content.
How to start an online business? Always keep in mind what your visitors are looking for.
A great example of this is someone who has a great site for anxiety attacks. He wrote a great e-book on the subject, but no one was buying it. Its main theme was how to deal with the onslaught of anxiety.
In desperation, he conducted a survey of his visitors. He realized that what they were looking for was not how to cure anxiety attacks, but "Am I having an anxiety attack?"
He rewrote the e-book to meet the real needs of his audience and his e-book is selling very well now.
Traffic is vital to your site. Make sure your offer is looking exactly like traffic.
